Is a weekly show that is viewed on social media platforms (Face-Book, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
providing inspiring, positive, and informative subjects within the motorcycling genre and beyond.
Motorcycling and its culture are very vast topics: add in stories of mayhem from past and present.
Tips and techniques for riding and maintenance, GOOD STUFF, RIGHT? Mix in product review, a dose of "Good Will",
and a touch of culture here and there, leading to interviews with motorcycle industry greats, legendary motorcyclists,
all-star athletes, movie, television, and music celebrities, riders who inspire others, all who ride and enjoy motorcycles-
that’s a real mix of nuts and bolts right there!
OUR HOST, Athena “Chickie” Ransom is well known in the motorcycle industry as a custom builder in her own
South Florida shop Vagabond Chopper. A proud biker chick, also a 10 plus year member of the Chopper Chick Crew,
Motor Maids, and recently the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. Athena has inspired ALL riders alike to be the best
they can be, through charitable giving, camaraderie in their communities and on the road of motorcycle life.
All of this has earned her a global following in the motorcycle world, and we are proud to have her as our host.
In an eclectic comfy setting, our lovely host will be wearing, well, her pajamas. We said it, HER PAJAMAS!
Enjoying an evening cup of hot cocoa to relax, Athena will be talking about motorcycling. After a small mix of uplifting and informative segments, Athena will be doing an interview segment, inviting the “Guest to Be Interviewed” to wear their pajamas
in hopes that they will participate in their fun and comfy environment where we share a cool place to reminisce,
relate and celebrate the history and evolution of our great motorcycle culture.
Bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts are different, but they are both where the culture began, and the history all leads to how we come together in today’s world of diversity in motorcycling. Our goal is to positively share what biker culture is,
from the early on-set and the history that younger people miss out on, to the new ways of doing things today.
About an hour long, each segment provides inspiring,
positive, and informative subjects within the motorcycling genre and beyond.
Every Guest Gets The Same Questions... AND...
EVERY Guest Gives Their Own Answers as they elaborate from their own personal experiences, laugh, joke and spread their "Sunshine" as Athena puts it!
Athena “Chickie” Ransom a.k.a. “The Vagabond Chickie” started as a new rider in 1982, learning the ins and outs of motorcycles from her guy at the time, and the parts counter of an aftermarket shop, working for a racing legend. The lessons learned about motorcycles, the encounters with parts and people proved to be the driving force to a passion-based career in the motorcycle world that she is truly grateful for daily. Chopping and building roadworthy machines is her life. Mix in a bit of antiques that she enjoys restoring and updating to perform on the road, makes her smile so bright it lights up the shop. Athena has participated in some of the greatest motorcycle rallies, events, and rides in the country as a builder and mechanic. Hard Rock Roadhouse, The first Motorcycle Cannonball Team Effie, Chopper Chick Crew and Chix on 66 to name a few. Many have seen her in magazines and on television, and as the "Hostess" of our show Athena After Dark Authentic, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, cool, and quirky. Athena has the positive spirit we searched for, to principal and promote this great adventure.
